My mom is and always will be one of the strongest people I’ve ever known. I always admired the way she would just smile through all the difficult times raising 5 kids. How she’d smile through the tough chemo treatments that left her with pain, hair loss, and little-to-no self confidence. She would push through it all so she could homeschool me, and reassure us that she was strong and going to make it. Every day I realize a little more just how strong her love was for my siblings and I, and everyday I wish that somehow I could show the same amount back.
Happy birthday, mum 
The more I think about you, the more I miss you, and the more I wish I could see your beautiful smile one last time.
But I know that your smile is even brighter and happier than ever before, and one day, we WILL see it again.
