As I sit here trying to think about what to write, all I can do is inhale… and then exhale. There just aren’t words to describe how I feel four years after our loss of Kristin. At times I can feel all the emotions of those first few days like it was yesterday, but other times it seems like forever ago.

Just know that I’m thinking about all of you today.

Love,
Shelly

I felt your presence on Christmas Day watching Cheyenne perform with KU for the Salvation Army dinner for homeless folks, and at the same time I missed you tremendously.

You are always near and dear to my heart.

Love,

Grandma

as the end of the year gets closer, i have started thinking more and more about Kristin. Its been almost 4 years since she left us but I still remember her like I just saw her yestersday. I miss Kristin everyday and I often see something that reminds me of her and I think about her. Kristin was an awesome person and I look forward to seeing her someday. I miss seeing everyone and I hope that as the holidays progress we can all remember the good things about Kristin and know that she is in a far better place then earth.
Love you all -Justine

The Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting is the second Sunday in December. Candles are first lit at 7 p.m. local time just west of the International Date Line. As candles burn down in one time zone, they are lit in the next, creating a 24 hour wave of light as the observance continues around the world.
